To this end, we propose to use a sparse selector such as an 1 -regularized linear support vector machine. Then a feature selection process is used. Each image is then represented as a feature-normalized histogram of the of the occurrences of each word prototype for each image. When next Yale Hannon and Joe Lynch want to embark on their next action flick, we expect a whole lot more! Our verdict- ‘Everly movie’ fails in its attempt to translate the expected awesomeness the movie’s cover projects, it is watchable but much should not be expected. The entire movie is set on just Everly’s apartment, oh and lest I forget, Salma’s desperate attempt to imitate the “easy breezy Korean effect” would almost make you want to cry! The fighting scene was affectatious to say the least but it did have it’s moments. A little humour is infused into this thriller in the scene where Zelda, also a prostitute, goes to confront Everly physically, both get into this really “mad” fight during which Zelda gets badly injured. The movie’s start is refreshingly engaging but somehow it fails to hold this to the end. Here’s where the action thriller takes me aback apparently a seemingly defenseless prostitute without any obvious defense physical training creates magic by handling heavy weaponry and let’s not forget grenades with enviable expertise, but that’s not all, it get better – she ends up taking trained security personnel down, leaving the honours for the master himself to take her down – Humorous indeed! Enraged by a bitter passion for revenge, the mob boss sends an almost endless stream of gangsters and assassins to eliminate her. Salma Hayek appears as Everly, the protagonist – a prostitute and former lover of Japanese criminal Hiroyuki Watanabe who betrays him. The movie was written by Yale Hannon and directed by Joe Lynch. Throughout the action thriller’s 92 minutes, my thoughts did some really good mental joggling. ‘Everly’ unveils and the audience is ushered into its charged atmosphere gut wrenching screams, unbearable suspense and fear of the unknown.
